My doctor said that testing for hiv after 6 weeks post exposure is conclusive. he ordered the hiv antigen/ antibody with confirmation and it was negative. is this negative result conclusive?

No medical test is 100% conclusive. The test you had was fourth generation HIV test (antibodies and p-24 antigen) which has 99.7% sensitivity and that is considered the best test you can have at 42 days post exposure. I think you can be rest assured if you are completely asymptomatic.
