A member asked:

Hello doctor, i did a test for antibody hiv+ antigen p24 and i got 0.25 as a result, the test mentioned that (0.9<- negative) (1>=- positive) (0.9-1 b?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Negative result: If any result less than 0.9 is negative, and the result one got is 0.25, that is a negative result (because 0.25 is less than 0.9). One should always do only safe activities (safe sex) if one worries about catching HIV, or if one gets possible exposures to HIV.
