Its written,ppi takes 2-3 days to kick in but stronger effects over long term, whereas rantidine works in 30 minutes. is zantac more powerful for stomach protection if acute treatment with nsaid therapy to be given only for 1 day? i am sensitive?

No, both of PPI or H2 blocker 2-3 days to work initially. If you have a sensitive stomach and you receive NSAID only 1 or 2 days, just take the antacid, 10 -15 cc every 6 hours and take NSAID with full stomach. Ranitidine is no longer approved in the US. Some pharmaceutical companies use the name Zantac but the ingredient is Famotidine not Ranitidine.
