I have seen doctors prescribing ppi with nsaids for stomach protection. some docs prescribe ppi once a day and others twice a day. what should be the ideal therapy for proper stomach protection if nsaid is being used twice a day?

Most PPIs (e.g. omeprazole, lansoprazole) last 24 hr; once daily is sufficient even if taking an NSAID more often. But follow your doctor's advice if any doubt or uncertainty.
