A member asked:

Are pre cancerous or cancerous polyps detected in pap smear? i have normal pap smear, but gynae saw my womb lining inflamed. may be a polyp deciding if we should remove it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

PAP smear may not detect endometrial poly lesions. It would be prudent to follow your doctor's advice and have the lesions removed. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
