Avascular polyp is a misnomer and this term is used when blood flow in the polyp is not detected by doppler ultrasound; however, polyp always has blood supply, not avascular. Precancerous cells of the endometrium are abnormal cells which can precede the endometrial carcinoma. With this finding, a closely follow-up and treatment are necessary.
