I hear that after 65, paps are no longer necessary if you've had 3 in a row with no problems.. i am 60 and 4 years ago had a uterine polyp which was not cancer, ne er had any other issues my entire life.. will i need paps longer because of that?

If your HPV was also negative you do not need beyond what is recommended for everybody else because of uterine polyp. It is important that you feel comfortable interacting with your doctor to ask questions because if you have a consistent follow up they have more information to help you better.
