Had a hysteroscopy, my gynae said everything looked normal apart from a very small sessile polyp at the entrance to the uterus. could this have been confused with a cancerous tumour? i dont think it was removed at the time. endometrialbiopsies taken?

I can only get into see a gynecologist here within 6-12 mths because my situation isn't urgent.(small uterine polyp). My mother(menopausal)just had precancer removed from her uterus and cervix. Does that put me at a higher risk of precancer or cancer?

Recent ultrasound found .8 cm uterine polyp or fibroid (solid lesion isoechoic to the myomentum). Doc recommends hysteroscopy to remove but said shes not concerned for cancer. I had a colon polyp removed last year that was precancerous. Scared?
