A member asked:

I can only get into see a gynecologist here within 6-12 mths because my situation isn't urgent.(small uterine polyp). my mother(menopausal)just had precancer removed from her uterus and cervix. does that put me at a higher risk of precancer or cancer?

What you described does not put you at near term risk of cancer. Waiting for 6-12 months is not likely to cause any damage. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health! Safe sex: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/safer-sex-guidelines
