A member asked:

What is avascular polyp in womb lining means?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A polyp is an abnormal microscopic projection from the mucosa (lining) of an cavity which usually has a blood vessel in the center (vascular). Avascular means one which does not. It could just be a polyp shaped swelling Your best bet is to have your Gyn explain it to you as he/she knows you best
