Is there anything otc that i can take to help alleviate fluid behind the eardrum and eustachian tube dysfunction?

Best is to consult an ENT physician, as much of what constitutes hearing loss may be simple cerumen ("ear wax") accumulation and medication does not clear this muting effect effectively, and the "ear wax" has to be manually removed.
