A 42-year-old male asked:
Had fluid behind 1 eardrum, it's gone now, but still have ringing in ear(barely noticeable). is it possible that there is some mucous in eustachian tube that you can't see? could covid cause this? been 4 months about 99% better; how much longer?

The ringing is likely just tinnitus which is unrelated to the fluid accumulation. Their presence at the same time was likely coincidental.
