Most commonly scars or granulomas (stable in time) are causing such changes, your recent history suggests transient changes due to recent infection that usually disappear at follow up. However, other possibilities such as tumors (growing in time) cannot be ruled out and higher resolution surveillance imaging is typically used in order to sort them out.

It could be an overeading. Do not worry too much, I would ask for a repeated CXR before subjecting myself to a CT scan.
