A member asked:

Am i high risk for covid lung complications? 35 yr old; ttp, ards, chest tube 10 yrs ago. can't get over 1k on incent spirometer since. recent ct (for ovary) showed breathing related changes in lung bases, pleural parenchymal scarring in rt mid lobe.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Covid lung problems: If you have compromised lung function (COPD), that would put you at higher risk, not some scarring seen on CT. Also, since you are 35 yo, you are at lower risk for complications. TTP if activated could increase the risk of complications.
