My ca 27-29 has been slowly going up. i have metastatic breast cancer. my dr told me not to put so much emphasis on the numbers. i know it can be from inflammation. my gastritis and gerd has been severe. could it be that? worried?

High CA 27-29 is not associated with severe gastritis or GERD.

There are benign conditions associated with increased CA 27-29, gastritis or GERD would be unusual among them. In the context of your malignancy it is assumed to be due to malignancy until proven otherwise. A slower rate of increase while on a new line may actually be favorable.
