I took advice and got a second opinion on my swollen salivary gland in paratoid. the oral surgeon agreed with ent of it being blocked up saliva and does not think its a tumor. is it ok they didnt run test? i am happy its not a tumor. thanks?

Are you doing what your doctors advised you to do to increase the flow of salivary secretions if that relieves the obstruction, the swelling should decrease.

Glad to hear both practitioners are of the same opinion, that you'r problem is benign. If both think that clinical examination is sufficient to diagnose, then they are saving you time, trouble and money, by not doing tests. Trust their combined 30 years of post college training and years of experience, which is what you've been told all along.
