Can a ent properly diagnose swollen salivary gland in paratoid without any testing and only doing physical exam? i trust her expertise but was curious. i was diagnosed with hypertrophy salivary gland and secretion disturbance. thank u?

Yes, an ENT exam would allow the physician to distinguish suspicious features that may require further imaging studies or a biopsy, for example. Sometimes a short followup is needed for an exam with sane doc to see if any local changes.

An experienced ENT specialist is looking at and diagnosong these types of issues all the time, and they recognize the symptoms almost instinctively. Naturally the will ask for the tests they believe are necssary and will follow up with you. At some point you have to trust you doctor.
