A remedy at home is to drink lots of water ,use sugar -free lemon drops to increase the flow of saliva and reduce swelling. You can place warm compresses on the gland. You could have a blockage or a bacterial infection If blockage try these procedures.

I took advice and got a second opinion on my swollen salivary gland in paratoid. The oral surgeon agreed with ENT of it being blocked up saliva and does not think its a tumor. Is it ok they didnt run test? I am happy its not a tumor. Thanks?
Can a ENT diagnose a swollen salivary gland of paratoid without tests? The ENT didnt feel as it needed tests. Do I need to see a oral surgeon too? I trust this ENT as she was very through and also helped me with my sinuses diagnosis?
