Can a salivary gland tumor be diagnosed with just a physical exam such as looking at it and feeling it from a ent? i was diagnosed with a blockage not tumor in paratoid. no tests. it doesnt hurt now but is still swollen. thank u. just concerned?

Salivary glands can indeed get a sialolith (small stone) that can plug a duct. since the gland keeps making saliva and there's no drain...they swell and can get very uncomfortable. Sometimes the pressure pushes out the stone. but you might` need it drained. Go see an oral surgeon.
