You read wrong. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your levels are minimally elevated and are neither diagnostic of cirrhosis nor do these exclude cirrhosis. Wish you good health!

Your ALT is within normal limits but AST is mildly elevated. Have you had a hepatitis A,B,C panel done? Is alcohol excess a possibility? Fatty liver infiltration or mild muscle inflammation could be the cause. Heart cause less likely. If repeat AST remains elevated consult a hepatologist or gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.
