You need to exercise to improve your muscle mass and function. A BMI of 23 is normal and you do not need to lose weight. Start you day with 30 minutes of exercise, any exercise will do. It will improve both your physical and mental health!

You can "diet" without being malnourished. Fruits and vegetables are low in calories and high in nutrients and vitamins. Combine them with high protein intake, especially plant proteins, and strictly limit carbohydrates and zero sugar. You'll lose weight but still be adequately nourished! Also, drink 80-100 ounces of water daily. Best of luck....
