steroids drops are typically used following cataract surgery to help reduce inflammation. If you have bleeding within your eye - which can occur in patients who have advanced diabetic retinopathy or wet macular degeneration - steroid drops are not thought to be helpful. Please see your eye doctor - as there are many potential scenarios for bleeding in the eye - and your own doctor will help
