Not related to : Your tired eyes are not related to a cataract surgery done last year. Have you gotten new glasses since surgery? What does your ophthalmologist tell you is causing the tired eyes?

Eyelid drooping: It is not uncommon for the upper eyelids to fall after any eye surgery. This can lead to a tired feeling and appearance. This can be one sided or bilateral. This also could have been lurking and become manifest after the surgery. The patient may have been struggling so hard to focus that the eyes were actualy open too far and no longer have to struggle because of better acuity. See lid ophthalmol.
