My mother is 65 yrs, she has been having diarrhea on and off the past 3 months. some days she has it, and she goes for weeks where its normal. she has a colonoscopy in 2 months, but today she has diarrhea /constipation.cancer act like this? or ibs?

Bowel disturbances as described can occur from IBS or colon cancer. Best is to have the colonoscopy done sooner , as the earlier one determines the diagnosis , the better the results.
