All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your calprotectin level is mildly elevated and by itself not a serious issue. Wish you good health! Visit this site for info: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5390326/

Your gastroenterologist remains your best resource at this point as to putting together all pieces of the puzzle. Your calprotectin suggests inflammation, but is non-diagnostic otherwise, history and included information suggesting IBS-D/ IBD. A detailed review of the symptoms, a food log, supplements and meds, including OTC will help if done by same doc(s) that are aware of your condition.
