You've described a patient with 3 separate conditions, COVID, pancreatitis and an umbilical hernia requiring surgery. There is really not information to guide you expect that if the surgery is in regards to pancreatitis, it may be because the patient is having severe pancreatitis with abscess or infection in the abdomen that require surgical management. Please circle back to the physician.
