Light: Eat light, non-greasy foods after any surgery until the effects of anesthesia wear off. 24-72 hours. If you are taking narcotics for pain you will want to continue this with increased fiber and fluids to avoid constipation. Once off of the pain mess you may resume your normal healthy diet.
