Fibroid ?'s: Large fibroids are unusual post menopause, but unless pain, bleeding and consequent anemia occur, removal of fibroids or hysterectomy is not generally necessary, as attrition from very low levels of estrogen after ovaries cease to function hormonally generally make them constrict in size.
