23 yrs old wf recovering from covid . had wbc of 2.1( range 3 to 11) platelets count was around 2 as well. just 2 weeks ago before covid all was perfect .is it just post viral or can she develop leukima in the matters of 2wks ? worried sick ! help !?

Just answered: I just answered your question. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. The results are not consistent with leukemia. Wish you good health!

Post viral: Leukopenia is relatively common. Sometimes meds used for symptom control such as NSAIDS can cause transient leukopenia as well. Serial counts under the care of a hematologist may help in this setting. Leukemia does not appear likely with limited available information.
