Pancytopenia: Pan- all the 3 cell types-Wbc, RBC and platelets ./Cyto- cells/ Penia- less in number. Condition you have is pancytopenia. Bruising around your eyes is from low platelets. There are various causes for pancytopenia like few viral infections, environmental agents,medication induced,nutritional deficiencies -B12,folate,copper def., autoimmune diseases like lupus,leukemia,lymphoma.
