A member asked:

Despite having a polypectomy hysteroscopy d and c all periods are still very very heavy with huge clots that start on day three. way bigger than a quarter. im scared. ive had endometrial biopsies saline sonograms pelvic ultrasounds but still this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Was a biopsy done?: Was a biopsy of the endometrium done? It will provide a pathological answer for why the endometrium is hemorrhaging based upon hormonal influence. Secondly, a laparoscopy can more thoroughly evaluate the uterus for abnormal growths such as fibroids. If necessary obtain a 2nd opinion from another GYN MD. By the way, have a CBC blood test done to make sure you are not anemic.
