How accurate is an office hysteroscopy endometrial biopsy &polypectomy in showing cancer or hyperplasia?
Heavy bleeding. Endometrial biopsy showed polyp. Hysteroscopy/polypectomy done and Dr says my uterus lining looks irregular and has some scarring. Never had a D&C. What does irregular mean? Could this be hormonal? Im 45 and FSH is 66

Im so scared. Im finally going to have a Mirena IUD put in due to heavy periods despite polypectomy hysteroscopy d and c. Had two endometrial biopsies and saline sonogram. Im hearing such horror stories but I cant sustain heavy periods each minth?
