Had hysteroscopy/d&c/polypectomy 1.5 mos ago. had uterine ultrasound & the polyp looks to be there again. is it possible it grew back or was it missed?

Could be both: Endometrial polyps are notorious for returning to the "scene of the crime". Most MD's who perform hysteroscopy are very thorough but we are also human and can miss a non visualized polyp.

How accurate is MRI in confirm uterine polyps? I don't want hysteroscopy or saline ultrasound. These has to be less invasive way.
Recent ultrasound found .8 cm uterine polyp or fibroid (solid lesion isoechoic to the myomentum). Doc recommends hysteroscopy to remove but said shes not concerned for cancer. I had a colon polyp removed last year that was precancerous. Scared?
