I have had a temperature lingering between 99.3-100.3 this past week. got diagnosed with uti but the nitrofurantoin did not work. got retested, uti still confirmed, and i was switched to cipro. is it normal for a uti to cause a slight temperature?

Yes: Fever is expected with any infection, including urinary tract infection. Make sure to complete course of treatment. Drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!

Cipro didn't work for uti, just prescribed macrobid. Can I take the macrobid right away, I had been taking cipro for a few days prior.
