Is it normal to still have blood in urine after finishing a 1 week course of nitrofurantoin. uti was confirmed sensitive to these antibiotics. im also very nauseous and mild flank pain on left side. no other symptoms?

Not normal. Nitrofurantoin very effective for BLADDER infection. With nausea and flank pain sounds like you have a KIDNEY infection. May need an entirely different antibiotic. Back to Primary Care (or Urgent Care)
