Adjustment/eval: A short course of oral steroids for 3 to 5 days may be indicated. Avoid smoke, allergic triggers such as dust/mold. Your infection may be viral, but if there is fever present, your PCP should evaluate. The antibiotic may not be effective or there may be a resistant organism. Screen for influenza and COVID 19.
