Asthma remissions: Appropriate asthma therapy does not make you dependent on it, rather appropriate therapy allows for minimization of symptoms. Although in children and teens asthma may seem to go into remission, if you still need your combination asthma medication, symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) it is unlikely yours has.
