I have a question about my moms (age 85) risk of exposure to covid. her husband contracted the virus in early july. he has recovered and is now frequenting topless bars and went to an hourly motel with one of the women from the bar. is she at risk?

Yes, High Risk.: Anyone who frequents public places where there are large groups of people gathered closely together inside with few or none wearing masks, is at a high risk of contracting Covid. Your mom is at risk from her husbands behavior not just with Covid but with STD's. Tactfully suggest that she takes the appropriate precautions and see her Dr for testing.

Infection risks: If her husband previously contracted COVID 19 & recovered, it is unlikely that he would be re-infected. However, she could be at risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease or other infections from her husband.
