I had a synovectomy and another surgery on my wrist to remove excess bone,why must hand be in the same dressing for 2weeks .it's dirty i am sweating and still 7 days to go.i feel extremely uncomfortable why is dressing not allowed to be changed?

It could be changed : If your dressing is dirty, and uncomfortable you should call your surgeon’s office and ask to be seen earlier. A nurse or PA could change your dressing and let the surgeon know if all is well or not
