Maybe: Prexisting neurologic impairment like a pinched nerve in the neck or peripheral nerve involvement like carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. Can certainly be aggravated after shoulder surgery. The causes for this are multifactorial. Most of these symptoms are typically seen within the first month or two following surgery.
