Likely but has Risks: Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ets) is the common surgery done to block the nerve tracks that transmit signals to the sweat glands. The most common side effect is a compensatory increase in sweating in other parts of the body. In some patients it's so severe that they often have to change their clothes during the day. Recurrence after surgery for hand sweating has been show to be around 6.6%.
