Biopsy: Having BPH does not exclude prostate cancer and it would be prudent to talk your father's doctor about getting prostate biopsy.

53 yr. old Husband's PSA went from 5.3 to 1.9 after 1 month on Flomax. Free PSA test results not back yet. Does Flomax reduce PSA? Does PSA decrease mean BPH and cancer scare is over? His DRE was good - no nodules just slight enlarged prostate?
