Good afternoon doctors. My PSA was 1.32 in February of this year. I am getting new bloodwork and PSA will be checked. What number PSA should I use to see a urologist in order to ascertain or to minimize possibilty of prostate cancer?
PSA went from 4.0 to 5.3 in 15 mo. Had ranged from 3.9-4.1 in the two years prior. Free PSA is 35; DRE conducted end of July was normal. Urologist reviewing now. Would you recommend retest or biopsy now, based on PSA velocity?
