Nonreversible: X-rays and CT scans expose the body to ionizing radiation, which increases the risk of cancer by damaging DNA in cells. There is unfortunately nothing that can be done to reverse this damage. You can change lifestyle patterns that reduce your risk of cancer from other causes. Eating healthy, exercising, getting enough water/sleep, & taking certain antiinflammatory supplements can help.
