A member asked:

Bad pain in sternum when moving in certain positions, ongoing for 2 months now, blood tests, chest xray, ct scan all clear. shud i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?costochondritis: If you have an area of tenderness at the junction of your rib and sternum it would point to an inflammation at that junction. Local heat, liniment and antiinflammatory medications may help. Could you have strained or injured that area in the past? It is reassuring that your tests showed no serious process, however.
