Dx w/ perm enlarged lymph node 20 yrs ago deep in neck on side. us done then and normal. md said no f/u needed, never mentioned again. dr just retired. no changes noted. wondering if i should still recheck as 20 yrs. could it become cancerous. no sx.

Watch and wait: You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
