No: kids can have this for sometime, so long it is soft, mobile, and didn't get bigger, however, your child's pediatrician would have to follow it up, might need some antibiotics, plus routine care and blood work, wish you and your child wellness

Lymph node: I am not sure of the size, but the other features make it sound normal. The position, the mobility and it’s stability.. if it is larger than 2.5 cm or if it changes, review it with you physician. All the best.
