Have an enlarged lymph node for 20 yrs. us done at that time and benign node. no f/u needed. i can still feel it, same size, no growth or changes. since it has been so long since original us should i have it checked again? can it turn cancerous?

Enlarged lymph node: Any enlarged lymph node should be imaged and followed on a regular basis. If it has not changed in 20 years is a good sign. If it changes then a biopsy is warranted. It also depends on where the lymph node is located.
