A 22-year-old male asked:
Have had a lymph node in neck for over 2 years now. ultrasound was normal, and node has gotten smaller. i have been having night sweats recently; is it possible i have lymphoma? or is 2 years of no growth enough time to rule cancer out?

Basics: We all have lymph nodes in our neck from birth on. Normal nodes are not a problem. Your nigh sweats can represent many other health issues unrelated to cancer. You should get a good checkup to explore the possible reasons. Nothing you cite can rule in or out any diagnosis.
