I have just finished 28 days on omeprazole for Esophagitis now after a week the burning sensation i was suffering from when eating has come back ,how long does Esophagitis take to heal completely. should i take nexium before i see my doctor next week?

Endoscopy showed grade B reflux esophagitis. Biopsy says: reflux esophagitis, mild, with focal surface erosion. Is the erosion also mild? I started on 20 mg Prilosec. I still have some regurgitation but no longer burning. Is med likely to heal this?
